In the fourth quarter of 2024, carpooling and ridesharing apps in Turkey showed varied performance trends on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps, with insights from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride maintained strong weekly downloads, starting at around 19.1K and peaking at 24.3K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, beginning at 356.7K and ending the quarter at 364.6K, after reaching a high of 469.4K in early October.

TAG Sürücü saw a notable increase in downloads, climbing from 13.1K to a peak of 22.1K in late November, before tapering off to 10.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar trend, with numbers rising from 72.7K to a high of 80.7K in early December, then decreasing to 56.9K.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting at 11.2K and decreasing to 7.7K by the end of December. Weekly active users also decreased from 264.2K to 205.7K over the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver downloads varied, beginning at 6.3K, peaking at 9.9K in early December, and closing at 8.4K. The app's active user base remained relatively steady, fluctuating around 39K to 44K throughout the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a peak in downloads at 13.1K in mid-November, followed by a decline to 4.7K by the end of the year. Active users decreased from 73.7K to 45.7K over the same period.
